FAQ

The use of a new canna-delivery naturally comes with lots of questions. So here's some information about our service.

WHAT IS MEDICAL MARIJUANA?
Medical marijuana uses the marijuana plant or chemicals in it to treat diseases or conditions. It’s basically the same product as recreational marijuana, but it’s taken for medical purposes. The marijuana plant contains more than 100 different chemicals called cannabinoids. Each one has a different effect on the body. Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD) are the main chemicals used in medicine. THC also produces the “high” people feel when they smoke marijuana or eat foods containing it.
WHAT IS MEDICAL MARIJUANA USED FOR?

More and more states are legalizing marijuana to treat pain and illness. Researchers are studying whether medical marijuana can help treat a number of conditions including:

It’s not yet proven to help many of these conditions, with a few exceptions. The greatest amount of evidence for the therapeutic effects of cannabis relate to its ability to reduce chronic pain, nausea and vomiting due to chemotherapy, and spasticity [tight or stiff muscles] from MS,(Multiple Sclerosis).

HOW DOES IT HELP?

Cannabinoids — the active chemicals in medical marijuana — are similar to chemicals the body makes that are involved in appetite, memory, movement, and pain.

Limited research suggests cannabinoids might:

  • Reduce anxiety
  • Reduce inflammation and relieve pain
  • Control nausea and vomiting caused by cancer chemotherapy
  • Kill cancer cells and slow tumor growth
  • Relax tight muscles in people with MS
  • Stimulate appetite and improve weight gain in people with cancer and AIDS

Can medical marijuana help with seizure disorders?

Medical marijuana received a lot of attention a few years ago when parents said that a special form of the drug helped control seizures in their children. The FDA recently approved Epidiolex, which is made from CBD, as a therapy for people with very severe or hard-to-treat seizures. In studies, some people had a dramatic drop in seizures after taking this drug.

Has the FDA approved medical marijuana?

The cannabidiol Epidiolex was approved in 2018 for treating seizures associated with two rare and severe forms of epilepsy, Lennox-Gastaut syndrome and Dravet syndrome. In addition, the FDA has approved two man-made cannabinoid medicines — dronabinol (MarinolSyndros) and nabilone (Cesamet) — to treat nausea and vomiting

HOW DO YOU TAKE IT?

To take medical marijuana, you can:

  • Smoke it
  • Inhale it through a device called a vaporizer that turns it into a mist
  • Eat it — for example, in a brownie or lollipop
  • Apply it to your skin in a lotion, spray, oil, or cream
  • Place a few drops of a liquid under your tongue

How you take it is up to you. Each method works differently in your body. “If you smoke or vaporize cannabis, you feel the effects very quickly.  If you eat it, it takes significantly longer. It can take 1 to 2 hours to experience the effects from edible products.”

EDIBLES

Q: How much of an edible should I eat?

A: This is a great question because consuming edibles is different from smoking flower.

Smoking cannabis produces a quick “high” in seconds. Consuming THC edibles takes longer. It can take up to 2 hours to feel a “high”. Edibles need ro be digested before taking effect.  Please be aware that every person has a unique tolerance level to THC. Caution must be taken when eating THC infused edibles.

If you are new to THC edibles it is very important to determine your body’s tolerance to THC before experimenting with high doses.

New Users – as a general rule we recommend that you start with a low dose (10mg) and wait at least 2 hours before consuming more You can repeat these steps until you find your ideal dosage. Once you know your body’s tolerance it is much easier to avoid consuming too much THC.

This is information not an exact science and should be used only as a guide.

VAPE CARTS

Q: What’s the difference between a real and a bootleg cart?

A: A real cart is comes from the manufacturer. A bootleg cart has the same brand’s packaging but is filled in a different lab.

The quality of a cart is determined by the quality of the oil used when the cart is filled. Our carts are filled in labs that use premium distillates and live resin oils of the highest quality and free of foreign agents and substances.

Q: Are your carts lab tested?

A: Yes, Our carts come to us directly lab tested by law in California.

Q: My cartridge isn’t working, what do I do now?

A: Not every battery works with every cartridge, so it’s important to to test the cartridge with multiple batteries to see if it’s a battery issue or a cartridge issue.

Suggestion: check the connection because sometimes a cartridge may leak a little and therefore won’t connect with the battery.

Quick Fix – use a Q-tip swab with a little rubbing alcohol to clean off the connection completely, then retry.

Q: I’ve cleaned off the connection and tried my cartridge with multiple batteries and it still doesn’t work. What else can I do to fix this problem?

A: If you tried to troubleshoot the cartridge and it still doesn’t work you can contact us and ask for an exchange. We will arrange to replace the cart the next time we meet. Please return the bad cart in the original packaging.

Q: The battery I bought from you guys isn’t working properly, what do I do now?
